please help my panick attacks go away

i started having panic attacks as soon as my daughter was born (7 years ago) and the doctor prescribed me seroxat antidepression tabs which i wouldnt usually take but was desperate and was taking them for over3 years inwhich they made me feel great i could go out on my own with no fear of having a attack but after having my son and hearing so many bad things about the tablets i was on i decided to wean myself off them to try and be normal and havnt taken them for over a year now.at first i was going great but for around 4 months now i am having them back nearly everyday. and is really scary im just constantly feeling breathless and that my throat is closing and a fear of going out. i just feel like i wont to just sit in a room and cry and never come out again. its hard cause ive started a course and have to go to work in a playgroup twice a week but just getting there is a nightmare for me but i really want to do it. i luv kids as i got 2 myself but just wonna be able to do so much more with them rather than go in a trance of const Crying or Very sad

antly thinking whens the next attack and not being able to take them ot to the park alone cause im scared i might collapse or stop breathing. ---please please please ---any1 who can help me im really desperate and its taking over my life. i got msn so please feel free to email me or add me to chat. thanx tasha Crying or Very sad

hi both thanx for your replys. i have been to the doctors but all they keep suggesting is that i go on antidepresants which i dont want to do again as they are addictive. so i have been to the herbal shop who has suggested i try a herbal called rhodiola rosea it helps with depression and stress which causes panic attacks and it aparantly makes you feel happy and stress free and more confidant but weather it will work is another story. but ive taken 1 this morning and will carry on with them all week and let you know how they go. i have read up on them on different sites and forums and their results are amazing. they cost me £9.95 for a bottle of 30 capsuales. so lets see if they are worth the money. i know saint johns warts are supose to be excelentbut ive read up on them and theres loads of bad downfalls about them so im no gonna try lol.
i have heard about the breathing exercises and have now started trying them to whichdo help a little but at the time when your out at a shop and cant breath i find im to freeked out to breath and relax haha.
