Hey there. Wish I could help you somehow, but you see, there's not much I can do really. Not much I can do, yet (!) there are people who can help you. (Parents. Teachers. Relatives. Or some professionals. Psychologists. Social workers. And maybe all of the above.) They can help you and they will. You only have to ask for it. Don't worry about causing them worries, please. You know you need help and you better get it now (now!) before it gets even worse and hurts you even more badly. Because you don't deserve being put down. And you know what? If you'll be strong now and get help and manage to stop the bullying, you'll make it so much easier for other bullied ones.

(It's so important to stop any violence. It's such a tragedy when people accustom to their role of a victim, and let other ones get away with the role of a bully. Everybody ends up deformed. So please, please, break the cycle. You know you can do it.)

If you need any more talking (well, writing), I am right here and ready to listen.

Take care.

I see. So, what other possibilities are there left for you? Would it be possible to change your school? (Think about it.) Maybe you could also look out for some psychotherapy/counselling, they usually can help a lot (here where I live there are centres where they provide counselling for children/teenagers for free). What else? What could you do? Who could help you? Think about it, okay?

Another thing, now it's important to protect your sanity (integrity, happiness, soul, peace of mind, whatever you want to call it). Too many people are left scarred and damaged for the rest of their lives after experiencing this. I think you might use a hobby, and a friend. (Everything looks so much better when one has enough friends and hobbies.)

So, tommorow going to school again, huh? Try not to worry too much and let us please know how it was.

hi bullyingstop..makes me sad to read your post. I was also bullied at school for many years, and on the school bus. I was called "wop" and many other derogatory names for being Italian..and also for just being quiet and an easy target i guess Sad Sometimes I wonder how some teachers and bus drivers let this crap go on..they must notice..how can they just stand by and let it happen?? Evil or Very Mad ...I believe that the bullying had a huge affect on me and has contributed to the problems i have now. I agree with everything Tryin has said to you. And you really really should tell your parents. The bullying has to be affecting your schoolwork, and more than likely your health if you're not sleeping properly, and certainly your self-esteem. Just remember you are a good person, and don't deserve any of that crap from anyone..you have a right to be treated with respect, as anyone else does. Your well-being is more important than your schooling right now. If you need to switch schools to have a fresh start, I would consider that too, but i certainly think the bullies need to be dealt with..if you can, try to tell the adult you trust the most, your parents, a teacher..perhaps the school could deal with it, but they don't have to say that you brought it up as an issue to them, if you're worried about that. They could say another classmate noticed it and complained. Anyway, good luck to you..let us know how things are going this week. ((((hugs)))) maggie Smile

hey man, I got bullied at school.....probably not as bad as some people....but these kids used to sit behind me and call me "gayboy" and threaten to beat me up and stuff and kick the back of my chair....but the worst thing was that they'd do it EVERY lesson....I'd try to ignore them but they never stopped....it really messed me up....but the one thing I regret the most was that I did nothing....I just took it for years.

so my advice would definitely be to take action and tell someone....cause whats the worst that could happen?...they might carry on bullying you, maybe this time because you told on them, but at least you wouldn't be alone this time. But personally, I'd say you gotta take the risk, cause you never know, they might stop.

as for who to tell, I'd say it's still better to at least try telling a teacher....cause if they don't do anything to help you at least you tried....but again, if you don't ask you'll never know.

plus, one other little thing, just so you don't feel so alone....did you know that the jews [I'm assuming you're jewish?] are the most persecuted group of people in history, all of the world...with hitler and stalin and the holocaust, etc....many great people have been unfairly victimised simply because they're jewish....so you're definitely not alone.

I don't know what your school and environment is like, compared with my old school, so you'll have to weigh it up for yourself...but I definitely think taking action is the way to go.

good luck man

Um...I would not tell your mother if she is on anti-deps...but you should tell someone...someone you trust. Also, think if you have done something to offend these people who are bothering you: if you have done something to them, try to understand the situation. Do whatever it takes to stop the bullying. You can even call the police...they may ignore, laugh or even insult you...but you are being attacked. Society should protect individuals against this sort of violence. Having taken all possible peaceful measures and if they don't work, think of taking violent action. You know that verbal harassment is on the same level level as physical attacks. If you are feeling the way you are feeling and if this isnt some sort of joke you are pulling, just think one thing: you don't have anything to lose. These SOB are destroying your life.

I was badly bullied when I was a child and more than 10 years on, I have still not recovered. The things you are experiencing may not go away ever. You may have the scars left on you til you die.

Try to meet new people (not everyone is like that). Get in shape if you are not. Try to make friends with people who will support you if peaceful action does not work. I hate to say this, but in a situation like yours, I doubt that talking will solve anything. Try though. If you fail, organize a beating with the aid of your new friends, get the bullies when they are alone and off their guards. Good luck.

Hi,

One thing to tell you is that you make a mistake if you think that you are alone in experiencing this. -I know of so many people who are bullied. And unfortunately it is not something that stops after high school.

A lot of people don't tell anyone of how they are bullied because they are ashamed, and like you believe that it is only them who gets this treatment.

So the first thing is to establish this fact -for you to know that you most definetly are not strange or inferior to others because of how you are being treated. -THis is really important because as soon as you dispel this illusion and begin to realise that this difference that you have which others are picking on, is something you have in common with most -if not in fact all- people; you will start to see through how others are attacking you for it.

So don't at all feel that you are "alone in being alone" -if you catch my drift. Your story is unfortunately all too common in fact.

One other thing to do is for you to make the connection between the bully and the victim. What I mean by this is that you can endeavour to understand why people bully others. If you can take it for granted that bullies are scared individuals who are afraid of their own differences from others then you can see how it is that that is why they pick on you for yours -they get you first so that others cannot get them.
Try to see this and take this fact for granted as much as possible.

You may not be able to fake 'not caring' about what others say to you and how they criticise you, but you certainly can give this impression to them when you really believe for yourself that how you are different is nothing to be ashamed of.

I did something like this when I was bullied severely at work. One time, the bully completely backed off, and did the equivalent of putting his tail between his legs and running off. -And this was all after he had given me a lot of crap.

So my advice is to see through bullies. Know what they are made of and take it for granted as much as you possibly can. ...they work on your lack of confidence in knowing that they are chicken shits. BUt if you know with certainty who they really are, you have dispelled the illusion that they have been trying to create. An illusion which is based on emphasising your difference and hiding their own, and putting shame on to you because they do not want others to know that they are like you.
You have to be the strong one and show them that there is nothing to fear.

If you do this sort of thing in your heart -the words that you need to say, how you need to say them- all of this will follow naturally. They will start to back off as they see how you are not effected by their taunts.

The important thing is for you to know that there is nothing wrong with you. At the very least believe that this is true because you most certainly are not the only one to experience such bad treatment from others.
