Xanax in canada

hello people

im from the toronto area, i talked to my doc about SA and asked if he could prescribe xanax to me. he said it was a restricted drug in canada or something. but im pretty sure i've heard of people in canada on xanax.

anyone here taking xanax? or any other benzos, results?

never taken xanex, but i've taken clonazepam for a while, i know most other benzos are available.

I'm curious as to what he means be restricted drug.

As in, you need a prescription to get it?

What other way do people get meds?

im not sure what he meant but he said he wasnt allowed to prescribe it. he seemed hesitant to prescribe benzos

Yeah, just my family doctor. Clonazepam is used extensively for anxiety, i don't know why yours won't. Maybe he knows something others don't or maybe he just doesn't know what he's doing.

But, they are used pretty much everywhere, i used to work at a hospital, and when a patient couldn't sleep the nurse would just give them a .5 mg of clonazepam.

In the states they call it Klonipin. I think it's one of the most widely prescribed drugs in NA.

Well, both sort of. I'm Canadian, but i married an American. So i live in the US, but come to Canada often.
Right this very moment, i'm in Canada.

nevermind, its available. most drop-in clinics have a strict rule of not prescribing habit forming drugs.
