Because its disregard for life. In God's eyes all life is precious, so it's pretty much outright murder. Besides if your so worked up about how the bible is designed to mislead why don't you read it? Every single question is answered in that one book.
As for the poem, I hope it's no suicide note but it's nice in a melancholic sort of way.
