I've always thought of dreams as just being your imagination in overdrive. That means anything in your dream is a creation of your imagination, which also means your thoughts when you sleep affect what happens. I don't know anything about dream interpretation, but I had a series of dreams that kept repeating themselves, but I managed to stop them. Try this:

Before you go to bed, think about the dream you keep having. Once you've gone through it once, come up with something that will finally let you end it. In your case, maybe you could have a set of x-ray glasses on the table... you'd put them on, and you'd be able to see what is under the sheets. Keep thinking about it again and again, convincing yourself that there's a set of x-ray glasses or whatever there in your dream. It took me a few nights to get this to work properly, but it stopped the repeating dreams I had.

Let us know how it goes. Good luck!
