Sorry, i couldnt read all your post, just skimmed through it.

I have held many house parties.(at my dads house)

Most of them werent planned.

Started of letting a few people online know
Then went in town with some friends
Got pissed (big help)
Going home, anyone we knew asked if they wanted to come to my house for a party

Then everyone came back and we all got even more wrecked.
And usually early on in the morning before i sober up, i kick everyone out...or everyone leaves to go home to bed anyway

Most turned out pretty good fun

I didn't notice you were 28... Butterflies is probably right about the question thing, it's a bit immature. I did use it when I was 17, lol, and that's as far as my experience goes Embarassed

Ok, right guys, I need to get this off my chest big time!! So this evening I went to a bar with this girl I like and guess what.....I discovered she is SEEING SOMEONE ELSE IN THE OFFICE!!! I overheard her telling someone else about the 'secret' and butted in to say "I think you make a great couple"
....basically that was the best defence mechanism I could come up with but in reality I was chewed up inside Sad I kinda had my suspicions and it all makes sense now...:

1. She no longer stops at my desk to chat.
2. I spotted that she often touches this other guy and leaves the bar the same time he does..
3. I saw them arrive at work together a few times..

Of course, being the loser I am I feel like absolute sh**e this evening and probably won't sleep very well....totally gutted...I get myself far too focussed on one girl and everything comes tumbling down.....

arrrrghhhh!! My only aspect of hope is that I know of at least two other girls who I think are interested in me but I need to act on it otherwise I will lose out once again...

And a further consolation is that before she started seeing this other guy she must have had some interest in me! Smile , so at least I know I can attract good looking girls.

Maybe the reason she didn'tthings with others that she doesn't with you is because of body language. Keep legs and arms open are the easiest steps. There are more, but they are more nuanced and i wish i knew more myself. If you're in a club dance with a girl and, and you are like me and inable to dance, ask her teach you, some girls like teaching it and most girls love guys who can dance.

Thanks but I think I'm out of the picture with this girl now and from tomorrow morning I am going to joke with her about 'knowing her secret'. She told me only 2 people know that she's seeing this guy in the office besides me. All I can do is pretend I am not 'upset' about it and get on with my life....it's going to be horrible in the morning now that I know...but what can I do...

Part of this has been misfortune because I went away for 2 weeks and during this time she must have hooked up with this guy. He's a nice guy to be fair.

Oddly enough he made some jokes about this girl trying to 'pull me next' which I kind of dismissed at the time as just a joke.

Is she engaged? No. Then you're not out of the picture.
