I generally like most modern stuff, but my favourite band by far are The Killers - for the simple reason that I like every song of theirs I've heard, though of course some more than others.
Tranquilize is awesome and Sawdust is out (here!) tomorrow
There are two bands that I'd like to see live, if I ever went to see one (or both) - The Killers, and The Foo Fighters.

so, as you can see, i heart ALL types of music.
p.s. this is kinda embarrassing, but do you know the song at the end of "titanic"? i always cry whenever i hear that... my mum's a sulk, so i think i inherited it from her...

I listen to classical, rock, and, what would one call Heap's music? I dunno, but I listen to that, too... Oh, and industrial-- I've heard Emilie Autumn's music called that and I listen to her stuff, so, yes, that too.
I like a lot of foreign music as well... Angela Chang [Chinese], Camille [French], Mika Nakashima [Japanese], A You Duo [Hmong], Celtic Woman [Irish/English], Alda Rizma [Indonesian], Shakira [Spanish], Mago de Oz [Spanish], Siti Nurhaliza [Malaysian], and oodles more.
Despite liking the language and such of Japan, I really don't like the J-Rock and most J-Pop. D; It's pretty much all the same, other than lyrics.
Rihanna's voice is amazing-- her accent is lovely. I listen to her music, even though I don't really like much else but her voice, sometimes. xD
