I've always wondered what that would feel like.

It's strange because (very) occassionaly i wake up and i am so tired i don't think about anything so i don't feel anxious o'r anything, but when i beging to wake up the anxiety begings. Usually i wake up feeling really depressed with a heavy heart.

Hmm... not really.

There are days when I feel 'alert', maybe 'content'; perhaps, 'all right'.

And like IceLad said--A good nights' sleep helps.

Many times, so long as i have something to look forward to (no matter how far away), or as long as i'm thinking positively towards a goal or aim (small or big).

it's a nice feeling!
the other day i woke up and was actually excited about things i could go out and do. i actually got dressed nicely and went out by myself with no help and i even went about a mile and a half and i even got on a bus! i havent left my house or gone that far alone on my own in 3 or 4 weeks, and so later, while i was out doing it, it hit me that i felt no stress, no pressure, no nervousness...and i was excited from the minute i woke up, just like when i was a kid. i talked to shop clerks, i tried on and bought clothes and even ate in a restaurant and talked to the food makers and joked. it was great. no safe person, out in open spaces in crowded places, talking to people and making eye contact!
