Okay, so here is something sort of positive. There is this lady at work- who actually likes my quietness. She said to a fellow coworker "I like the way she talks. She is all nice and quiet. You don't hear that much anymore." Just had to share.

And I also remember back in college- freshman year- my English prof said "You have a unique personality." I guess because of my extreme quietness.

Any positive/complimentary comments you want to add about quiet/shyness etc?

Since i m guy - comments are uniformely negative.
Eventually i have some good comments by older women.
Or the women that missed a chance to be romantic with me ages ago.

I cant change being shy, it is hard to change even simplier things.

How will it be if i would tease all short people?
Or all tall? I have a very good vocabularly when pissed.

worked in a bicycle factory a few years ago but after a year and a half everyone were made redundant. A guy who worked there got talking to my sister a few months after leaving there, and because we have a rare suname here in Wales he found out that she was my sister and he told my sister that he had worked with me and that i was ''the only normal person who worked in the factory, and a nice guy''

My art teacher in school told my parents that he found it a pleasure to teach me because i was quiet unlike the mouthy ones in class.

Yeah I've gotten the rare compliment on my personality, mostly by teachers and college professors. Weird that the people who deal with large volumes of people at a time seem to be the ones complimenting us. Haha maybe they just have an unconscious wish for everyone to be quiet.

Honestly though, I think it goes along with the thought that this is a gift not a problem.

Peace

Because I'm not sociable, I'm less tempted to slack off at work and chat with other people Laughing a couple of my coworkers were fired for fooling around and I was "promoted" (as far as you can be promoted in a part time job) I was told I have a good head on my shoulders
