I don't smoke, but shit should still be legalized... I have no way of getting my hands on the shit even if I wanted to. Still though, my best method of countering anxiety is getting angry
that just makes it worse for me. i was smoking with these people i didnt know and a close friend but i started getting all red all over my neck and chest and it was so embarrasing i wanted to just scream
sometimes it makes my anxiety worse. it does especially if i'm around people.

Does the term medical marijuana mean anything to you people? A true therapy with marijuana would be to smoke before a social situation, not during a social situation. Medical marijuana for anxiety is intended to be smoked on your own, prior to a social event. What you people are describing are instances of recreational drug use. There is a big difference.
You also need to find a good anti-anxiety strain of cannabis. Most dealers don't know what they have, and that is a good part of having cannabis dispensaries, which are employed with people who know about each strain they are selling. Most Indica varieties are better for us than Sativas, which can, in fact, increase anxiety to an inexperienced user, due to the heavy head buzz involved. Indica strains, however, provide more of a body buzz that is especially helpful for anxiety and getting to sleep at night.

I don't have any articles but IMO if it's legal to smoke cigarettes until we croak and we're allowed to drink vodka until our livers explode.......why not marijuana!!
I'm not sure about other countries but it seems like in the U.S. you can only smoke it for "medicinal" purposes it if you're dying from cancer. There are worse "legal" drugs out there.

Not in California, my friend. The law clearly states several chronic illnesses (such as cancer, chron's disease, multiple sclerosis, etc.) marijuana has been proven helpful, and then reads "and any other chronic illness for which marijuana provides relief." To describe myself, I am currently considered disabled by the federal government because of my panic disorder w/ agoraphobia. Many doctors in California agree that this is a chronic illness for which marijuana provides relief. All you need to do to receive a medical marijuana card in California is find the right doctor, have medical records present when you go to one of these doctors, and tell them that marijuana helps more than any other medications you've been on (as long as you're being honest). That's it. Then you get a recommendation from the doc that you take to get a card which allows you to legally grow your own marijuana or purchase cannabis from any of the hundreds of cannabis dispensaries located throughout the state.

Exactly. However, marijuana isn't nearly as harmful as smoking cigarettes or drinking vodka. It does produce carcinogens when smoked, approximately 3x more than cigarette smoke, according to a recent study.
The answer: A little device called a vaporizer. Vaporizers only get hot enough to burn the active compound in marijuana, THC, leaving the plant matter just a bit discolored. You can also eat you're marijuana in pretty much anything that you can put butter on/in. These two ways of utilizing marijuana's therapeutic properties cannot result in any deaths, plain and simple.
