The Fight

I feel so worn out , zapped of all energy , the only thing that keeps me going is the hope in my heart , that crisp , pure , euphoria that appears out of nowhere , I will be free , one day , one day soon , this soul isnt one to be locked up for that long , maybe im meant to be learning something through all this pain , sorrow , and misery , but all ive learned is that life shows no mercy , I know that freedom is so close , yet so far away , my mind has taken my heart prisoner , my heart is giving up the fight , its reflected through my body , i can barely move , i hope my heart doesnt give up the fight , because then all there will be is darkness , i will keep going , soon i will be free ..
