I am wondering if anyone out there uses lorazepam to help cope with panic attacks, and if so, how do you use it?
I have a prescription for lorazepam and I use it when I feel a panic attack coming on. Or, if I know I will be in a situation where I am likely to have a panic attack, I take it shortly before I am in the situation. Usually I'll take it in .5mg increments (hypothetically, before and during a situation). I have a hard time noticing the effects (sometimes I feel like its not working!) so...
I am just looking for advice from other users on how you administer the drug and what dosages used. thanks!
My husband has to take that med and sometimes it works and sometimes it does'nt. I guess it all depends on the person. If you don't mind me asking how long have you had these attacks and how long do they last. My husbands had them last as long as 3 hours.
I’m also suffering from anxiety and panic disorder problem. My doctor prescribes me xanax for it and it is working. I think you should consult with a doctor before you take this. You can get more information about xanax at http://www.xanax-effects.com
