So far (35 years) things tried have not been successful as in trying to change negative psychological self beliefs. Because of Social Phobia, I'm not employable. What do other sufferers of Social Phobia do, to live, work and to cope?

SP_1970,

Welcome to SPWorld. Its good to see another Aussie... albeit a Banana bender Smile

Well luckily for me I have been working in for past few years, but it is at times hell. I am not sure if this is job I can do forever.

As for other things in life... some things got a little bit easier, other things haven't. Lately, I have been spending too much time worrying about work, so I haven't been worrying about other things in life.

For 41 years I kept getting worse and worse. I tried shrinks, meds, cbt, but none of it helped. Finally, almost 3 years ago, I found ACT and have been slowly regaining control of my life.
