Does anyone think it might be a good idea to make a kinda day to day diary on sweating and ionto? I'm growing a bit tired of my sweating going from really good, to really bad again and again.. I think if we were to make a note of how our sweating is day to day, and when we use the machine, we might see some patterns in relation to sweat levels. I've gone months having nice dry hands, only for it to screw up again, but I can never remember what I was doing when they were dry.. what days was i using the machine? was it regular? did i just use it when I felt the sweating coming back?.. You get the idea.

well i think it's a great idea. i kind of used it some time ago when i'd have attacks of extreme derealization and/or anxiety and it worked. definitely do the diary, if you can. (well i am into blogging these days, so i'd say it could be interesting to do a public blog diary about it... to raise lonto-awareness, connect with others also challenged with it, share your experiences and so on - just an idea).

btw. good to read you, Pinker! haven't been around for a while, but I remember your posts. how are you doing?

pinker, i'll be happy to help with it. i had to restart ionto again though because what happened to u happened to me too.

btw, when u said ur hands/feet sweating is on again, is it only the fingertips and the sides of the feet that started to sweat again? or is it all over the hands/feet?

Hey, thanks for the posts Smile

Tryin; i'm not too bad, how are you? Good too see older members still around the forums!

Hinder; that's right it is mainly my fingertips and the sides of my feet, though the bottom corner of my left hand near my wrist is the same.. maybe through not submerging it enough. Overall my hands feel really hot inside though my fingertips on the outside are cold and clammy.. i'm always rinsing them under cold water. Basically just very uncomfortable.

I'm doing a treatment as i'm typing this (one hand on keyboard/mouse and the other in the tray) Smile . This time i've added quite a bit of efferverscent salt which contains sodium bicarbonate.. I've not used this before and it comes in a fine powder ready to dissolve in water, so lets see if this does anything.

Hi all:)

I just want to say something about my ionto experience.

I have used ionto whit idrostar for 1 year and 3 months now.
In the beginning I followed the intstruction that came whit the device. It was saying that you should take treatment about 8-10 times I think, and then take it again when the sweating came back.

This didnt work properly for me because I felt when it was comming back it was to late to just take a treatment or 2 to get dry hands/feet.

So then I decided to take 10-12 treatments all over again and maybe take 1 or 2 treatments a week.I found out that one time a week was enough for me.

I never got them 100% dry, didnt get rid of the sweating on my fingertips, but that I have now solved that out, to take dehydral cream only on my fingertips before going to bed 1-3 times a week.2 times a week is usealy enogh for me.

For me the important thing is not to skip 1 treatment,I always do ionto every wednesday every week.If I dont do this I think I have to star the whole thing over again.

Another thing is that it wuold be nice is some of you could answer my other topic.blood-type.What type you got.

Thanks:)

I do my hands and feet at the same time, one hand in one tray and the foot in the other, then I do the other side. I go to 11-13mA all the time. For maintenance i'm going to only do it when I feel the sweating coming back but right now i've done about 4 in this past week (lasting one hour each). I dont think ive ever used it twice in one day. My hands are dry so much so there's dry white skin on them but my fingertips are still moist. I'm really hoping it will calm down after a few days. The soles of my feet are dry, just the insides of my feet and a bit on the outside near my heel.

Yeah I usually think once a week is enough, but what I really think is I should use it when I feel the sweating coming back a little, because I was dry last week and I used it anyway and BAM it just came right back pretty bad.

Hm,im sorry to hear that.I have not experinced it myself yet.

But I remember that if I took it to often and to high strength I would sweat after the treatment.

In the beginning I took as high mA as I could.19-20mA.

Now I never go over 13mA.Starting whith 10mA and its going to 13mA by itself.

It is just an idea Pinker I dont know if its something to it,but I always have the black wire on my foot tray just to make sure that I always do the treatment the same way everytime.

By the way can I ask you what blood-type you got?

Thanks.Smile
