I have the idromed 4 which has good size trays relative to most others, but I still wanted something deeper. I bought a couple of clear plastic containers that are much deeper and much more functional. As far as I can tell the trays that came with it are just plastic trays, so theres no reason why the trays I bought should not work fine right?

They should be ok but i'm not sure how you'd go about attaching the metal to it. Be careful not to add too much water as well because I feel it weakens the current.

Thanks for the reply. For the idromed 4 you just put the metal plates into the trays, they aren't attached to anything. Luckily I found containers that were more narrow than the trays that came with it so when I fill it with the same amount of water it just covers more of my foot/hand. The metal plates measure about 12.5 inches in length and 7.5 inches in width and my containers are about 13ish by 8ish. As long as theres nothing special in the plastic of the trays that came with it I guess I should be just fine lol.

Are you sure ? I don't think that more water weakens the current.
I will check it in the next few days.
