hello everyone,i am new here. i just want to see your opinion on a problem that i have. i do suffer from OCD by the way,i am certain about it. There are times where i make various thoughts based on various subjects. And sometimes while i am doing those thoughts i might be distracted and forget what i was thinking. Afterwards i feel like i have forgotten something very important and i feel worried about it. I try to remember what that was but i can`t. Something deep inside me makes me feel bored to sit down and remember exatcly what i have forgotten as if it wasn`t anything important.
i know this sounds very strange and peculiar but thats how i feel.
p.s i am also a perfectionist which is a pain in the ***

It doesn't sound strange at all and I also suffer from this. Maybe it's a part of being a perfectionist and worrying so much that something isn't right, therefore forgetting something puts you off balance.

By the way welcome to the forum Smile

idk if its an OCD symptom or not but I also seriously suffer from that...especially whenever I start doing my homework; I always get some random thought stuck in my head that has nothing to do with my homework, and if anyone interrupts my thoughts I always lose the thought and then spend the rest of my day wondering what I was thinking about...its so distracting
