Wish me luck! Starting out on 10mg of Paxil

Hello,

I hope this generic Paxil helps my SA and GA. My doctor told me to take 1/2 tablet (10mg) for 14 days, and if everything seems fine, up it to 20mg.

I have read some posts on the internet that 10mg for some people is good enough, but, I guess for me, time will tell. Anywho, wish me luck

Good luck. It takes a little while for it to take effect, about a month, I think. You'll have some pretty vivid dreams, too. Very Happy

+1 on having dreams! Very trippy.

But Paxil didn't cut the cheese for me, still had panic/depression after taking it for a little over a month of 20mg.
Every bodys different, so I hope it works good for you!

Okie Dokie, Two weeks in on 10mg, so far, haven't noticed anything different.

Two more weeks on 10mg, then I'll move up to 20mg.

Well, it been alomst 3 months, I started on APril 16 and still don;t feel any different. I started on 20mg since May. I still take 3 hours to fall asleep, still have my SA and my neurodermitis. I have one more refill of 100 pills.

The pills are generic made by Apotox. Maybe generics don;t work as well as brand name.

I tried paxil for a spell once....didnt do much for me....but maybe I didnt give it long enough...I dont know.

I suggest you either change to a higher dose and hope for the best, or change meds.
