Hello all, I am a fellow depressive. I suffered from depression since childhood, and I've also been prescribed pretty much every pill out there that doctors use to treat depressives- some have worked, but after a little while I'd gain tolerance so the effects would wear off.
Though, I am a pretty motivated person, so I did a lot of research on my own because the doctors didn't really help me all that much. 8 years later I got it figured out. Now, I just wanna make sure that everyone else knows what I know, so they can feel as I feel.
I made a little video explaining my theory and showing how to apply it safely.
Very nice perspective on this situation. I never thought of the sun being the culprit of my depression, but I do agree that the whole idea makes sense. Winter has always been the most depressive time of the year for me, and even my doctor has brought that up. I am actually feeling better now that spring has arrived where I live. All winter I've been depressed and never wanted to do anything. I just always had that general feeling of "ickyness" that you described in your video. However, now that spring has arrived, I've found actually feel well enough to go hang out with a few of my old friends. I actually was out of the house all day yesterday visiting friends and what not. That's something I haven't done all winter. I am definitely going to do some looking into this vitamin D theory. Very interesting stuff! Keep those wheels turning man you very well could be on to something.

Well next winter hopefully we can just avoid all this "ickyness"
The import part to remember is that its its a immune syndrome. Its just your body doing its best to protect you, AND that there is a lag time between getting better/worse physically and mentally. Pay attention to the your physical effects primarily, especially sleep, the mental side will come around a few weeks after.

truer words my friend.... and hopefully now we know why, and we can use it more effectively
thanks for the kind words all, it really helps me keep going with my work. It means more than you know.
