Having friends is extremely important. You don't feel so isolated and it gives you an opportunity to do things you wouldn't normally do.

It's strange..I think I want friends but when I'm thrown into a social situation I only want to get out of the situation! I do have one or two close friends but I could never be 100% comfortable and myself with them. To me my closest friends are the characters from my books and movies.. Smile

I would love some friends. the trouble with me is i have bad taste in them, i always feel like the doormat, like they wanna be somewhere else.

I agree with alot of thoughts on here, but im not sure my SA suites friends.

I cant be this hard to find nice people to talk to now and again....

Having a large group of friends doesn't interest me, but I wouldn't want to be without atleast one friend.

I have only one friend at the moment, and she's likely the best friend i've ever, and will ever have. The downside is that my SA causes me to think that i'm not good enough for her, and that she might go and find somebody better than me...so I get quite possesive and jealous if she even speaks to other people sometimes, despite the fact that I know it's wrong to be like that.
