Ok, so the other day at a party I got chatting to someone *gasp* as I was really revoltingly drunk. I said something about a shop I really like and he was like "Oh my friend's the manager there, I can get you a job there!". I didn't take him seriously and thought he'd forget about it but a few minutes ago he texted me asking me if I'd like to send my CV over!
I reallyyy need a job as I need to save up for uni and working at that place would be amazing. Any normal person would jump at the chance of a cool job literally being offered to them. There's one major BUT though...SA. I know that the rewards of this outweigh the costs but I'm being held back by my fears again lol. The guy I met at the party probably thinks I'm this chatty, bubbly person because I've only ever met him drunk so he doesn't know the real, awkward and socially inept me. I mean, I wouldn't be able to drink every saturday for work Confused
Some advice wouldn't go amiss, thankyouplease Smile

I think you should go for it. Take the risk. You may just love it. Hell, you may hate it and feel like crap but nothing's saying you couldn't quit. You wouldn't be trapped there is all I'm saying.

Go for it!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is an opportunity you really don't want to miss out on. Understand that everyone becomes chatty when they're drunk; explain that to the guy or just let him figure it out on his own. Either way I'm sure he won't hold it against you(Hell, I think shy girls are hotter than talkative girls). Remember, just because you join a job doesn't mean you can't quit it the next day; you might go in nervous as hell and ease up once you get to know your coworkers, or you might just not like the job in general and decide to quit. The point is to at least try! Wink

Good luck to you!
Cool
