When I am feeling down with anxiety and my thoughts start racing 90 to nohing, i think all sorts of crazy things. My thoughts race because i start thinking things like "reality isn't real" or "life is meaningless". Anyone ever feel these feelings. It's like you know you will die one day and you feel like you might just die any second or go crazy. Or even disapear.

Yes, all the time! I sometimes think I' going crazy like this seriously. I will think about everything all at once and so fast, and if I am especially anxious about something I will just say it over and over and over again really fast to myself thinking about that while thinking about what else is wrong. It's annoying. I can never get to where I can't think about a million things at once, it makes it so I can't sleep at night. I know how you feel here.

I get racing thoughts when I'm really anxious. Not about dying, but about things I have to get done that day. Whether it is an errand or something at home I have to do. It's hard to control them and they occur frequently.

I'm constantly bombarded with negative thoughts which causes severe anxiety. I too can't sleep at night. I feel totally exhausted all the time.

I know exactly what you are talking about. From what I ve read in numerous books these racing thoughts are the direct cause of all of our problems

We basicaly (Over think). Just look at those out going loud mouths. They just speak their minds or just do it. We spend most of our time analizing every little details. People with out anxiety dont apear to care what anyone else think.

thats is exactly right. i thought i was so unique because i would think, "well why did he/she say that or do this" and i would go so far in depth with it that i just get lost in everything, everything i think about is far from simple, i can take the simplest task and complicate it to an oblivion, glad im not the only one who feels this way....

I know what your talking about! I think really negative thoughts and then I think WHERE DID THAT COME FROM- I"M GOING CRAZY! i'll be making breakfast and start thinking about death and the end of the world, nukes, and killing people-Its like a train one min I'm fine and the next I could not get any more demented. Then you think this isn't me whats happening I'm lossing my mind and I cant get it to stop and then five min later I'm eating my oatmeal and talking to my mom about church and helping the community. It doesn't make any sense...but its good to know i'm not the only one

It's SO important to practice positive thinking. Make a list at home of positive qualities about yourself. Make a list of all the good things in life that you are fortunate for.

These can be anything. From the food in your kitchen to the puppy dog that you love. Make a list of all the good that you have.

When a negative thought enters your head, swipe it away and couterbalance your brain with something positive from your list.

Do this for a couple of weeks and you'll find that your brain naturally moves towards more positive things
