I definately agree that certain circumstances can make it worsen, for me its a vicious circle of being anxious because im sweating and sweating because im anxious!
as for anti anxiety tablets, my doc pescribed me 'Half beta-prograne 80mg capsuels (propranolol hydrochloride)' because I mentioned how anxiety makes it worse, but I havent started using them yet, Im not sure if I want to take tablets without a bit of research first...

I was prescribed Klonipin for my anxiety regarding plantar HH. The first day I took it, if I was sweating, I didn't know it. It gave me a feeling of eutopia.
I went online to run a thorough check on Benzodiazapines and found out that they are very very addictive. My sis is a licensed Social Worker and had a client that was hooked on Benzos. Her client ended up trying to buy the drug in the street because she could no longer get them prescribed.
I also learned from a story by a gentleman on line that the side effects of benzos, after using for a period of time, are worst then what ever you took them for in the first place. (but, of course he didn't have HH )
Needless to say, i took the Klonipin just to get thru some of my worst days at work; however, you're not supposed to stop on your own after taking for 3 days straight. In order not to add on to my existing problems, I just stopped taking them. They remain in my cabinet.
