if we were smarter, where has it gotten us?

anways.....no way are we smarter, we just focus our attention on different things to everyone else.

some of us might be better than average academically but that could be because we were at home studying and avoiding others while all the other kids were out playing football together.

Hey Paul. I agree with you.

If learning is knowledge then I guess you can say the more learning the more intelligence. When you're like me and sit home ALL day on the PC, there's ahuge amount of time to learn something.

Too bad my memory is so crap haha.

Well my SA has given me the time to learn how to do programming and web developement so it hasn't been a total loss.. I was always interested in computers, but since I fell into deep SA I've been on the computer 24/7 and keep busy all the time.

Of course I love what I've learned on the comp, but I know I won't feel complete till after I get over SA and actually get some sort of social life.

I have always felt that I am more intelligent than others. However, I also feel that feeling more intelligent is a double-edged sword in that you are not intelligent enough to realize your own limitations. Ergo, my firm position is that I am somewhat of an idiot.

So you feel you are slightly more intelligent but think you're an idiot?

Am I getting that right?

If so I can't imagine what the large population of people who are less intelligent are?

Super idiots? Most people do seem to be ignorant in what goes on around them. It's such a shame that their ignorance also causes us to suffer.

i am a firm believer of 'ignorance is bliss' as the days that i feel happy lively and confident are the days i odnt think about things, when i just unfocus everyhting and just..'do' (when i can that is) and i love those days.
admitedly wed have a pretty messed up world if everyone did that but you need days like that sometimes.
