Hey Speakerheart,
am still in university but I feel like dropping out everyday since from high school. I don't know how long I am going to be patient...
do you mind if I ask you..why did you drop out of school? Just want to know if your thought are like mine
heyy speaker heart.. nope ur not the only one, i droped out frm College an year ago.. i couldnt take it anymore n' im planing to go to college dis september hopefullly
I dropped out of college years ago, and to be honest my life has gotten worse since. Not trying to alarm you or anything, but in college it was easier to be social. I smoked a lot of weed back then, so it was easier to get along with people, you know we had a common interest. I guess in my case, I really didn't stray from my dream, I just went to college because I thought I was supposed to, it wasn't really what I wanted. I didn't really have any direction, that's good that you do. Depending on what you are trying to be, you can always do correspondense or even start at a lower level job.

I worked as a Civil Engineer for 8 years, then I went back to school for it and dropped out in my first year, went through a real bad down period where I was on disability for 4 years and came out of it as a personal trainer specialising in mental health fitness drawing upon my own experiences. I am just getting going, with a little luck next year I may start my own studio, right now I am working out of the garage and online.

I guess it's all about following your dreams and sometimes HOPE plays a big part in all of this.
I never attended college until I was an adult and it was the best for me.
The college I chose to attend was small and for me the others were too big for me and I felt like I could deal with the smaller one much better.
In spite of my fiance' committing suicide I persevered and stayed in college for myself and it was because of the ongoing support of my family and friends and the school I attended I hung in.
I so much at first wanted to quit.
Just doing it when it is right for you.
My son is trying to get his high school education and it has been hard but the first thing you have to deal with is this and everything else will follow.
We celebrate the small victories and everyday is a victory because it takes courage to live with this...and to me he is my HERO.
Don't be too hard on yourself.
You can always do it later at your pace hon.

I can relate..
because of the social phobia thing i have usually dreaded going to school
it allways made me nervous and overwhelmed i just couldnt deal.
So i ended up dropping out even though i allways said i wouldnt.
I really hope i can continue my education soon in the future.
I didn't drop out of highschool, but I've been in college living on-campus for a day and a alf now and I hate it...it seems like everybody already has frinds! And I haven't said a word to anybody but my room moate, I hope I can make some frinds, otherwise this is going to be a looooooong two years. I thought about dropping out and coming back in a year, but I figure I'll just stick it out and get it all overwith as soon as possible
