I also have thoughts about killing people, especially babies and children. It started after my 1 year ocd experience with obsessive washing and cleaning. I got to the point of being so desperate that am ready to kill smbdy. I dont know if I would actually kill smbdy but I have such thoughts.

It's very common to get thought like this, but the good news is it doesn't mean that you will act out on them. I used to get distressing thoughts that i would kill my cat even though i love him more than anything. I haven't had thoughts of harming people for years but i do have other thoughts going around my head constantly.

I used to have the same problem. It got to the point where I had to hide the kitchen knives because I was terrified of acting on the thought! But a thought is just a thought, eventually it goes away.
