i have a tic and i was wondering if anyone else had something similiar to mine. i'm always blinking or rolling my eyes in certain ways to get a feeling of stress off of them. usually my eye movements are in a patten. the recurring one is that i blink them six times and then roll them once. i've had this tic for several years now and it seems as if it fluctuates in its intensity with each different season. when i was younger it was much worse than it is now. i still do it, but it is definetely less noticable and is more of an instinctual thing, such as breathing or blinking i guess. so, i was just curious if anybody else had such a tic and what it was like for them.

back when i had OCD, my tics always had to do with blinking. not so much counting blinks, just doing it a hell of a lot. also, odd eyebrow movements. shit was the worst... i'm so glad i got over it. you will too

Sometimes, I'll slowly widen my eyes (as if I'm trying to look shocked in slow motion) and divert my eyes up and to the right and then strain them. The problem is that once I do it, I keep doing it for a few hours. I've noticed other people doing it now and then, but to do it back to them to let them know that I understand might be mistaken for me making fun of them. Embarassed

This is so great because I totally used to have the eye rolling tic. Then it morphed into this high pitched squeak sound I would make with the back of my throat. Now it is sniffing. Mine mostly exasperate when I am nervous or stressed. I wish they would go away. But I am so happy to see I am not alone!!!!
