I was amazingly able to finish my degree at Carleton due to the fact that I was able to take a lot of my courses from home (via CUTV). In my family me not completing a degree was not an option, so there was a lot of pressure on me for that. There were no other options. It took me a while to settle into a program I enjoyed, though. And I steered clear of campus as much as possible in favour of staying home, so I didn't make any new friends. I missed a lot of classes and would only appear to hand in the occasional assignment and for midterms/finals. But I'm done, which is a relief. And it makes me feel good that I have at least accomplished something in my life. Unfortunately I cannot handle the pressures of a 'normal' job, which is now the next step people are expecting me to take. Gah!
