I've been single my whole life, never married, never engaged, never even close. In the past I have dated quite a bit, but most of those relationships never lasted more than a few weeks. The last date I went on was a year and a half ago. I actually had to break up with the person which is a rarity for me. Usually it's the other way around. The last long term relationship I was in (and the only one) ended 19 years ago. I've virtually been alone ever since.
I don't mind it though. Yes, I would like to meet someone who can love me for who I am. That would be a dream come true. But at this point of my life I realize that I don't have what normal people have to offer and it stacks the odds greatly against me.

I'm 21 years old and I've been single for all of them! I had a guy tell me he liked me, after that I was so scared to actually have someone like me that I started avoiding him. Ugh, one of my many regrets.
