Good for you, Scottish_Player!!!

Nevermind about giving too much money at the store. Everyone does that some time, it could mean you're in a hurry or a million things besides being nervous Smile

Making a joke to improve an awkward situation... that was awesome Cool

BTW, loved your idea of a "positive feelings only" thread.

Yeah, this is a great idea for a thread!!

It also makes me realise it's a good idea for everyone to consciously attempt to make positive things happen everyday, whether you decide to post them here or not.

I will keep this thought in mind and try to remember it everyday, and try to make positive things happen.

My entry for today - I suspected that my annual pay rise was less than it should have been, so I went to complain, and payroll accepted that they had made a mistake. So, I get a bigger pay rise and didn't feel too uncomfortable whilst making the complaint Very Happy.

Before i start this, i wanna say this sounds bad at the start but it gets better.Well anyways i was wandering home the other night and 2 guys roughly my age who were very drunk. Decided it would be fun to jump me, I started wrestling with the first one, but the other one grabbed me from behind and the first on started laying into me,this went on for a bit untill some guy who was passing jumped in and chased em off.Normaly somthing like this would really get me down and make my anxiety worse. But i had to go and shrink 2day, so i thought why should i be nervous when id taken a kicking, i mean whats feeling nervous compared to getting my ass kicked. Anyways i didnt feel bad going to my shrink. Very Happy

Chilling echo, u said basicaly u couldnt handle somthing like that happening to you.To be honest i reckon u could and so could most people on this forum.Sa/sp is bad cos were scared and our adreniline is going, so when somthing serious happens, well were in our element, cos normaly we cant do anything to get rid of the adreniline.but in serious situations we kinda focus more than normal.

Danfalc, my corageous deed is really lame compared to yours. Anyway, yesterday I felt right so here it goes:

I was walking around the mall and entered a small store without noticing the girl and three guys chatting around the counter. One of them approached me with the usual "can I help you?". And as usual, my chilly answer was that I'd take a look first.
When I walked towards the back they started laughing so I thought they were laughing at me and so on. But instead of making the list of reasons why I deserved it, I though "SO WHAT?. What do I care if they're laughing at me or not?? Chances are they are just flirting and stuff."
So I cooled down and looked at all the clothes.
