This is a great idea for a thread. Learning to interpret events in a positive, or at least a not negative, way is so important. It has really helped me.

The last couple of weeks haven't been that great for me and I'm not all that positive, so this is a good thing for me to do.

Actually I'm having a hard time thinking of specific positive things, but I'm positive about the fact that I have improved a lot in the last few months. I will post something more positive later.

I havent been posting much positve stuff on here lately as i havent been doing much to talk about, but tommorow iam planning to go out and wash my car again this may be nothing to some people but for me to be standing out in the street with all the houses overlooking me makes me feel realy bad.I can sometimes talk myself into feeling not too bad but other times i just basicly throw a bucket of water over it and thats me done as i just dont feel upto it.

So here is hoping for a sunny day tommorow and an early finish from work to do it Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

good luck washing your car! Very Happy do you have drive-thru car washes there? That's what i usually do, (if i don't have to wait in line Embarassed ) but sometimes i imagine my car stalling in there...getting stranded in the car wash, having to go for help, with soap and water everywhere..yikes.....i'm such a dork Shocked

I dont think we give ourselves enough credit to be honest, I think we all do posative things, But we dont give ourselves credit for them.I mean we do things but we feel worse for doing them well i do anyway. The problem is we do things, then beat ourselves up for not being performing socialy well in whatever we did.instead of feeling bad we should feel good for ourselves cos we have at least tried, even if we did muck things up,its better than not facing whatever we are scared of and staying in our comfort zones. And scottish player, you said that washing your car is a problem and it might sound silly to other people, well if its a problem for you to do that, then its not silly at all mate and well done for getting on and doing it.(sorry if i sound patronising or whatever)Anyway hope it went well or goes well and good luck.
