I dont live in orange county but I know a lot of people from there..
None of them are shy though... Oh and I applied for a job from san bernardino county as a prosecutor but I didn't get it. Orange county is a nice place to live. I wish I could've gotten a job there...
DUDE!! I ADMIT I've never been there! My elk info is a few years old. But I can easily see CO treehuggers introducing 3 million dollar's-worth of wolves at the taxpayers expense instead of shooting a buch and giving th meat to the poor.
And from what Mike told me the Texans are the ones coming up to CO to hunt and shoot people instead of deer.
Here's a great example (look it up): A guy from Texas sent his son across a cayon to flush a big Bull elk he'd been scouting (meaning he paid a scout to tell him where it was) and sat back with some Southern Comfort to wait for his lithe and limber boy to hike it over and flush the elk. Well, he started classing the far bank of the gultch, and sure enough there was the bull!! He unloaded his rifle into the elk, RELOADED and unloaded his rifle into the elk again. (funny...I always needed one arrow or bullet).
Anyway, they guy hiked excitedly and drunkenly over to admire his prize and he had put NINE ROUNDS into his own son. Not a deer in sight, and Jr. was NOT wearing so much as a Viking helmet, let alone an "elk suit".
Like I said, they out-of-State tags I wanted were 3500 bucks. Next year they'll be 700 max. (Brown bear, black bear, Pronghorn, archery, etc.)
