What meds do you take for your social anxiety? I am hoping to be put on meds soon, I just hope that it works to some degree

I had been given paxil and xanax by doctor before. Paxil helps a little bit but not enough, and I hate the side effects. Xanax really helps but eventually it really gets to you.....you feel drunk and clumsy. Plus people say it is addicitve.

I bought propranolol online and that also helps a but it could be dangerous if not properly used.

I use the drug which is paxil by another name and I find it helps me a lot. The side effects aren't too bad in my case either.

i used paxil for over a year and did experience side effects at first. after my doctor adjusted the dosage a few times i felt great...had almost no attacks for about 2 years...but now begining feel them again and seriously considering going back to it.....I was down to a very small dosage 10mg i think before i stopped and it really helped me
