When i have problems i try to deal with them, that way when they have been dealt with they are no longer a problem and i no longer have to worry.By forgeting a problem dosent always make it go away.

Yeah but with sa not all problems can be delt with that easily scottish,so whats the point on dwelling on somthing you cant fix.I mean that is half the problem for me, if i dont keep myself busy i dwell on things too much and get depressed and patheticly all self pitty.

As for what i do to forget my problems, I find reading a good book helpfull as it not only distracts me and keeps me entertained, i also think it helps me relax and helps me to nod off at night.Same with drawing.

Okay I admit it Embarassed, Im a big fan of computer games aswell, senceless shooting, blowing things up and other acts of violence will keep me glued at my computer for hours on end.

I also speak to random people through instant messaging programs in a attempt to improve my social skills

Hey Dan

I know its not easy but i think all problems can be fixed, its just trying to figure out how to fix them Question as my granny would say "problems are there to be solved" Laughing I think SA is a thinking problem more than anything, like nickabcuk has said before its all about changing how we think and see things.A big problem i have over come with changing my thinking is i no longer have to check outside before i leave the house,i used to get a little panicky and scrared that there would be people outside but now i can just go straight out when i feel like it.This wasnt just a little problem for me, i had been doing this for years and now by changing how i thought about it helped me so much.

Yup your right, i wasnt disagreeing with your first post.We do need to deal with our problems but untill we have got to the point where we are happy with our lives which will take a long time for most of us i think, we also do need things to distract us as long as we dont bury and heads in the sand. Also not all problems can be fixed mate sometimes we just have to learn to accept things

i understand what u are trying to say scottish. What i feel most ..is i guess a sense of purpose in life.Knowing what to do and what u wan to acomplish in life like what grumblina say Sometimes i think that it may be a excuse when i say SA is stopping me from doing anything. But its very tiring and must of the time halfhearted effort trying to make things right. My psy told me that probably i wont be able to be cure completely but should be able to recover 80 plus??I really hope so.. but admit that its all up to me whether i could come back.
