you are right. It is a small city and you have access to trains and you are exposed to different culture and people just like NYC but since I am not from Montreal I dont feel that preesure. they have this small little park in Cote Des Nieges near this community center I remember when I went there to take a break from stress. It was late at night and I jst laid on the bench and it was well hidden and the area is not overpopulated in that area and I felt good for the moment.

I used to jogg in that park, until I found out that jogging on Mont Royal was much better. Smile

I used to jogg early in the morning to watch the sunrise and late at night to avoid aglomeration and smog.

Some friends of mine go to a non-profit center called Argyle http://www.argyleinstitute.org/ . It is not completely free, but if you don't work of have problems with money, they charge you much less.

hello everyone Smile
im a nice 30 yo french guy... in montreal since september in the downtown area
I was wondering if I could meet people nearby and discuss our issues and reframe them... Its tough to be alone. Im a very shy person and Im trying to make friends here but its almost impossible. Also I was wondering if there were any good therapy to overcome shyness here like EMDR or hypnosis... this is ruining my life and I really want to mke friends here. be well everyone
