my damn rockery. What the hell man? Where there were once large watermelon-sized chunks of basalt, there are now grapefruit-sized cobbles. At the same time, their rockery seems so much more robust and colossal.

What? I'm not going to notice Rolling Eyes ?

What the hell is their problem?

[poverty, lack of education, lack of proper role models, sense of entitlement, criminality, superstition, waste, fervor, and stew]

Ugh.

Hmm these people sound quite stupid Shocked don't know of too many people who steal someone's rock garden. I mean at least wouldn't they want to steal something of more value? Still your neighbors are the type of people who frustrate me Mad leave wutnow's rockery alone!

Man, everybody's neighborhood is 'bad ass.' I've got graffitti from (5) different gangs on my street and alley. Gunshots, drive-by's, tagging crews, all that lame sh:t. Every house on the block without a viscious dog has been burglarized. The Post Office told me not to get a mailbox because my mail will be stolen on a regular basis. Someone grazes through my recycle bin at night. (2) people got shot across the street from where I work. This summer a little girl was killed by a hit and run driver a block away (turned out to be some suburban, spoiled, ganster-wannabee, driving a primered out civic hatchback with a noisy exhaust, and equally obnoxious sound system).

By noting the petty thefts of rock and bark, I can better accept the general situation in the neighborhood. Which I can deal with, because I won't be here forever and it's funny.

(whooosh)

Someone getting shot outside your window will not happen everyday.

I can't move, yet. Not enough equity and everything else costs way more than what I paid for this. I'm in the Puget Sound area and houses are expensive as hell. So I did the best I could with the amount of money I had and it got me a new house in a marginal neighborhood. Other than the theiving neighbors to the south, it's mostly alright. Just lots of junk cars, couches at the curb, and pitbulls.

It's marginal.

Temporary.

I wonder if they'll take the rock with 'Jessy' tagged on it Wink . Or maybe I should take it to Jessy, he lives (3) houses down Very Happy.

can't you just start stealing patches of their lawn to fill in the gaps?
eventually you'll have swapped gardens...and then you could start stealing your rockery back Very Happy
