One of the many:

A few years ago I was in a school assembly and as we sat down on the bench this girl in my form made a point of giving herself about five times as much space from me as we normally do when it's that cramped. She looked at me like I was subhuman (which of course, made the irrational part of me feel that that's just what I was and the rational part of me hate her for being so rude and insensitive). I had been thinking about how much I needed to assert myself so I forced out the words 'scared you might catch something?' in the bitchiest tone I could manage to let her know that I knew she was being rude (because my way of dealing with mistreatment was to act like I hadn't noticed it, people thought I was unintelligent and didn't notice, understand or suspect anything people did to me). She was surprised but not intimidated as I must have put on my blank robot face and 'deer caught in headlights' eyes. I was terrified. She passed down the line what I'd said and when her friends were listening asked 'have you got anything I can catch?'

I was so scared I looked away for ages and stared at the clock. It could have been five minutes before I came back with a reply that was moderately clever for a little girl. I knew what I wanted to say quickly, but it took me that long to pluck up the courage. They didn't know that. They looked at me like I was the animal dung in a zoo. Wouldn't you think it weird if you'd been speaking to this person who ignored you for five minutes, then turned around when the conversation had moved on and picked up answering your question as if it had taken five minutes to think of an answer and as if you still knew what they were talking about?
Maybe that's one of those 'had to be there' moments but I remember because they were the strangest looks those people have given me and was the thing that convinced them I was insane; damage unrepaired to this day.

OK now yours anonymous Smile

ok this happened to me when i was about lets say in grade 1or 2 ... it was my first or second day of school and i had to take the school bus. there was no more free seats except for a nice space near these other 2 small girls. so, i sat down there minding my own business, all shy and stuff worrying about what's going to happen in school. (ever since then i pretty much felt lower than others.) and then all of a sudden i hear whispers loud enough for me to understand. they didn't want me sitting next to them. they were telling me to get off cuz it was their seat... i should've stood up for myself but i was too frightened to say anything! (which ofcourse now i regret) so they're plan B was to push me off... it's kinda funny if i think of it now because you see me using all my force to stay on holding on the side of the seat. and i think they were like " 1.. 2... 3.....PUSH!!!!" hahaha well all i know is that it wasnt really funny for me at the time. and then they finally gave up asking if i wanted to be their friends (in a not so friendly manner) and then they were discussing something together.... it was soooo embarassing i feel pretty bad for not standing up for myself.

I have many embarassing moments but this is the one that I can remember right now:

I was on my way to school and this guy came up to me. He started asking me about my name and stuff. I told him I was in a hurry and that I was late. I started walking really fast and next thing I know I was on the ground. My pants ripped and I got a huge bruise on my knee. I turned around and he was there with a smirk on his face. I got up and ran.

I went into the store to buy soda or something, and i was at the register when one of the workers came around the back dropped to his knee, confessed his "love" for me and asked me to marry him. i know he was just joking, BUT OMG i was like AHHHHHH i didnt even look at him grabbed my stuff and ran out of the store leaving my cousin inside. I will NOT go into that store anymore!

I remember working in a store/shop years ago during the Christmas season. I had sneaked out for a little break to buy a couple of things.
When I arrived back one of the other sales guys noticed me coming up the little set of stairs leading to the main door and shouted over to me to come give him a hand with something a couple of customers he was with had asked about. Anyway, the abrupt attention got me a little flustered and shaky and thus I missed the top step which caused me to do a slow motion back flip out of the shop onto my backside. Of course, everyone in the shop saw this and immediately the whole place erupted in laughter. I was utterly embarrassed and probably melted the snow in the entire street from the heat coming from my face.

For me that would be an endless list. There is not a single day I do something I don't feel embarrased for.

My most embarrasing moment was at a restaurant. It was a smorg type set up where you serve your self. I was filling my plate with all types of food and went back to my seat.

The bread I had grabbed was hard like a ROCK! I tried to bite it but couldnt.

The waitress came up to me and told me that it wasnt edible. Accidently I had grabbed bread that was part of a display of glazed food items that was near the food bins...

I wanted to crawl under my seat and die! I was so embarrassed!
