yeah, been out of a 3 yr relationship for... 4 months now with no guy in sight and all my best friends are hooked up so i've been in a funk this week...

haha cool. i always hate when i post crap like this b/c now i'm dealing with it and i look back and am like, argh! that didn't make a whole lot of sense but whatever.

Im having a lonely day today. One of those typical English soggy autumn days where there is nowhere to go and I cant seem to get theenthusiasm to do much either.
When I see couples I too feel sad as I think Im missing out on life by living in my own tiny world.

As screwed up as this may sound, I usually only resent it when a friend that's been single for awhile hooks up with someone. I hate being jealous of friends, but when you see them do something that's impossible for you, you just can't help it. I like to think that if I try hard enough, I can, but the thing is, is that they don't have to try, someone will approach them (even if they're wasted) or at least make it clear that "the light is green", wheras with me, it's a struggle. Makes me wonder if i'm a freak or something (can't just be the SA, there a few people on here with it and they have girlfriends, and you also notice that they are good looking, although maintaining a relationship with SA has to be difficult, at best).
What really gets my goat is how my brother, who treats woman like shit, always gets girls, and I can't get anyone interested in me if my life depended on it. The thing with him, though is he can never keep a girlfriend for that long. because he is a narcistic sociopath.

I also hate when I look at a girl and I get the "dirty eye", the look that says "Not a snowballs chance in hell, freak-o". I'm working on trying to keep that from getting me down, but it's hard..

dude I know exactly what you mean! one by one my old friends all got hooked up with girlfriends/fiances etc and as they did so they had less and less and eventually no time for hanging out with "the gang" and started to only socialise with other couples... now I got no mates left from that group at all
likewise the fuckwits that used to smash me over every day, they never had problems getting girls, girls would flock to them
maybe if I start treating people like shit girls will like me too yeah? I dont understand it at all.
and dont worry, you aint the only one who gets the "not a chance in hell" look from girls all the time. might have something to do with me being an ugly peice of shit, as that girl on the weekend so delicately put it
