let's go clubbing

hey guys,
well, i don't know about anyone else with social eanxiety, but i am really into the club music. i only wish I could go out and meet people and go to the clubs but i'm waaay to intimidated by the whole scene !! anyone else out there who loves dance music/house??..i'd like to chat Shocked

I used to listen to a lot of dance music, used to pretend my room was my personal night club complete with a red light bulb (which also doubled for when I played WW2 computer games and wanted to pretend my room was a submarine Embarassed

)

dance music is pretty cool, here they have a lot of raves in clearings in the middle of the bush but Ive always been waaaaay too shy to go, besides you only go to those things with friends or you dont have fun from what Ive read in reviews etc, but cool idea though

now I mostly listen to Evanescence and some semi-rock type music

yeah, i listen to alot of trance, ever listen to massive attack? good stuff.

i can't dance but sometimes i feel the need to jsut go in to be a fly on the wall. just to see everything going on, a bunch of strangers. i can blend in and just watch. i haven't gotten up the courage yet htough

bellieve it or not I used to do the same thing !!!! I would blast my music and dance ..alone. very sad..but good exercise Laughing

now that i am seeking treatment, i want to get out more. i have this dream of going abroad to london and going to a clubsince most of the music i like is from the uk. i'm into mostly house music but i really like groups like depeche mode and a lot of 80s rock.

BIG fan of massive attack...they are prob. one of my favorite bands ever. I didn't like their last album though..
it was too quiet for me.

so i went downloading away at some other stuff. i also have other various trance tracks people tell me about. it's hard to know where to start b/c there's so much Confused

oh yeah i've seen the show house..my mom is addicted to that show.
the teardrops song goes well with the opening though. i think it's cool ..kinda like a little video.
i first got into them about 5-6 yrs ago (?!?).
but i wasn't really into them i just had an old album because i liked one song. now i have 2 or three of their albums and i think one of the people in the band is pretty cute. i forget his name. anywayz.

if you like massive attatch]k you will probably like a lot of the stuff i am into like Tricky, sneaker pimps..
maybe not all of the "dance" music but the slower stuff is cool... Razz
