Since I tend to avoid life as best I can, coping with it isn't so bad anymore.

It is strange how all phobias except social phobia are cured through consistent exposure to its cause. Yet I'm still scared of going to the same supermarket for 5 years.

It really is crazy, no pun intended.

Don't be too hard on your Mother, she is giving you any different advice that a lot of professionals give! They simply can't understand what it's like. My Mother simply ignores it all togther-- changes the subject and prentends that it doesn't exsist. Talk about frustration. But then, maybe I should cop her attitude, try pretending it just doesn't exist. Sometimes I can do that, but it's not always possible. Sad

Yep, as Tyler Durden says "it's only when we've lost everything that we're free to do anything".

Been there with the suicide, nearly died, didn't, and 3 years later ... now I like my life.

i often wondered if anyone has actually taken there own life because of s/a! i have thought about it a few times, but like u say..."im 2 stuburn" i care 2 much 4 my family & friends & i do strongly believe that life is great & im destined 4 better times!
plus... despite all these brain numbing issues, i still find life extremely enjoyable!

can i just say 2 anyone who is thinkin life isnt worth living....

U R NOT ALONE, but things can only get better, life is a precious thing & nomatter how many problems enter your complex mind, they can allways b fixed!

NO problem is unsolvable!

You should try and get some supportive help from somewhere if your mother cant provide it, its good that you come on line and talk to others about your problems, I say let it all out
