Hi, I have been diagnosed with severe depression, social phobia and agoraphobia for the last 8 years. I have been taking clomipramine & diazepam for over a year now. Each time I have been to the doctors for my review the dosage has been increased due to the drugs no longer having a satisfactory effect. Once again I am overdue the dreaded visit to the doctor (I'll get there eventually). The doctor mentioned a medication change if things haven't improved the next time I see him. Please, can anyone suggest something that has worked for them that I can ask my doc about? My phobias/anxieties seem to be getting worse & I don't know what to do so any advice you can give will be much appreciated.

hey, ask the doctor about effexor xr for depression and anxiety. Also, ask about Ativan, which is used for the short term relief of anxiety.

I am on both and both seem to have helped.

i've had success with paxil but it's a bitch to get off of
