A Measure of Peace

More rare then an everlasting love
Ever expanding like the sky above
A measure of tranquility awaits us all
So long as we are brave, and rise when we fall

More beautiful then the purest prodigy
An unlimited state of utopian empathy
And its true that life’s unfair
But we must find hope, we must still care

More perfect then a picture painted view
If we hold on long enough our good deeds will come due
A whispered idea in the greatest of our minds
A small measure of peace, that few of us ever find...
