I love alot of traditional Irish and Scottish music aswell as my hardcore and dance lol anyway theres a song when it comes on my computer called Boondock Saints Theme Tune and its from the film The Boondcok Saints incase you aint already guessed, and when i hear it it just makes me so happy and care free for some reason?

Hehe. Maybe this was part of my problem with depression in the past- even the happy and upbeat sounding music that I liked had depressing or negative lyrics- for example The Cure or The Smiths. Not that I still don't love these bands- I do. I am wondering does anyone have any suggestions of posititve songs that might fit my musical tastes?

Ooh- Katness has some good tastes-- I don't think they are too cheesy, but maybe I am too biased. Doh! wait a minute, eventhough I love Red-Red Wine by UB40- isn't that a sad song. Ah well.

Close to me and Why can't i be you - by The Cure

I can't make me love you by Butterfly Boucher

They don't have a profound effect on me but they lighten my mood - they all have this 'boppy' (for want of a better description) rhythm to them and they make me feel like getting up and dancing in a terribly stupid manner.
