my doctor perscribed me paxil about 3 months ago and my anxiety wasn't going away. i was having nervous breakdowns everyday for almost no reason at all so my doctor decided to put me on remeron and the first day i took it i was light headed and was feeling like i was drunk i even fell up my stairs somehow then i fell asleep and basically slept 16 hours or so. should i take this stuff again????? and is that feeling gunna go away lol?

every drug will do something different. i've found success with paxil, whereas welbutrin made me depressed, and zoloft made me sleep like you did.
i'd say give every drug at least a week or so and if you don't get any bad side effects, a couple of weeks to see any good effects, but there's got to be SOMETHING that will work for you
That's the thing with medications it affects people in different ways.Some people will have side affect that other people wont have.Some people will have no side affect at all.It all a crap shoot.Take me for instant I didn't have any bad side affect on any of the antidepressants I was on but known of them work for my either.It can be different for different people.
Most of the time the worse side affect happen when you first start taking the medication then as your body gets use to it,the worse side affect go away.Give it a week or so and if they have not gone away talk to your doctor about it.
wow.....remeron made me feel exactly how you said you felt..i felt light headed almost a dizzy drunkness feeling then extremely tired like a took a strong sleeping pill and passed out....doesnt seem that great
