Yeah I talk to myself too much probably, I think i've been doing it for so long now its some kind of OCD. I need to make a concious effort to reduce it lol.

Exactly! Almost everyone talks to themselves at one time or another, or all the time (like me), its not as unatural as you may think.

But yes, if we turn the situation around and start talking to ourselves in a positive way thats a bonus. Whenever I do it I'm acting out potential conversations, so obviously I do it more when I know I have to speak to someone, do a presentation or have an interview: so good in that I get some practise but bad because reality may not live upto this fake conversation I made up. Yikes.

Stardog do you know what in particular about talking to yourself makes you depressed, if anything?

Hey if it makes you feel any better, I like talking to myself sat on the toilet, and its quite fun. Embarassed ... Twisted Evil
