i felt better when a couple other friends of ours joined us, but damn, it was weird...

Weird, maybe... but not unique....it horrible when it happens and just knowing it's happening makes you sweat even more. It happens to a lot of us, so your not alone, not that it's any HELP , but at least you know that you aren't alone.

I used to sweat excessively for many years. Didn't matter whether I was nervous or not my shirt used to be wet from my underarms all the way down, it was so embarrassing. Didn't matter what I tried to do, even used deodarants which said that it will keep you dry longer, they never worked. I have since found out that it is one of the symptons of SA. I don't know how but the problem has now gone and I am so much happier and don't feel so self conscious.

likewise I sweat heaps when in social situations. no amount of deoderant will make a difference and showering twice a day doesnt help either although it does make me feel a little less insecure about it.
I get it in any social situation but around the opposite sex the most.
I often wear a tshirt with a dress shirt over the top because it I hate wearing dress shirts purely because of the sweat

well that doesn't sound new to me.. i experience that all the time with both sexes boys and girls.. there are certain instances that i wouldn't just feel sweaty, shaky and nervous as if someone is there watching and waiting to attack me anytime lolz... ive been worst whenever i encounter a stranger heck even my classmates makes me nervous and sometimes dizzy... this really sucks...
