Which one you can rely on when you want a relationship? I always thought that following the heart is the proper way and I like romances. But lately I think that following your mind is more helpful, cause you can see if sth is wrong on sb. Also,if you follow your mind is there a chance of being happier later, while romances are temporary? I'm really confused and don't know what is worth being followed.

Ive always followed my heart.. i know its a cliche but they say love is blind and its true and you cant see if your getting mucked about cos your listening to your feelings rather than common sence.. and all ive got for opening my heart is me taken advantage of and walked all over.I think you should use your brain at first and try and keep how you feel with your heart to yourself untill you know you can trust the person enough otherwise you could get hurt.

You know Giolanda, I have the exact same problem! I guess I am the kind of person who easily gets a crush. But for some weird reason I know that the ones I "fall" for are not men that I am meant to be with in the long run. So I guess I will have to choose my mind when deciding whom to walk down the aisle with...

If I followed my mind only to be lead down the wrong path, when I look back on my choice I'd feel bad about myself for ignoring my heart.....whereas if I followed my heart only to be lead down the wrong path I don't think I'd feel so bad about myself. I think I'd be kinda proud that I stayed loyal to my heart, even though on this occasion I made a mistake. So I guess I follow my heart more than my mind, although ideally I think it's best to try to unite the two.
