Paxil can help with many different symptons of depression/anxiety/etc.

I was prescribed Paxil for OCD/Anxiety...

Your partner may feel very fatigued or tired while his body gets used to the prescription building up in his body. This usually takes about 3 weeks or so.

I don't take Paxil anymore because for me the side-effects didn't subside and I am just self-managing the anxiety at this point. I got really bad headaches, felt light-headed and dumb, and there are also sexual side-effects sometimes.

Paxil helps control some of the uncontrollable thoughts that cause anxiety (that is the easy way to put it). It helped with some of my compulisve behavior as well.

Long term, you shouldn't really notice anything different about your partner...
