I am pee shy I cant pee where I am feeling observed or rushed.

I have difficulty with drug testing. I really would rather be a truck driver over disabled.

I can urinate most times easily when alone.

Do any of u have this and have u tried any meds for it like flow max?

I am very selfconcious and think my problem is mainly in mind but when I told doc he ignored me and wouldnt work on it.

I will go see a urologist soon but wonder if anyone here has overcome this?

If someone is standing behind me waiting for me to go, then I can't go, but it hasn't become much of a problem. Thats about all I can relate though. If I'm in a public place and can't go (if there aren't people waiting on me because if there are then I wont be able to go), I focus not on myself and am able to go usually, but your senario is much much worse than mine, so hopefully the urinologist can help you.

I agree that its in your mind. You need to be able to focus on other things to go.

You could try covering your ears with your hands and thinking up stories about squirrels in your head. It works for real.

Not if you are trying to pee into a cup... Laughing
I used to think I didn't have this problem... Now I'm not so sure.. Confused

I was at the clinic today and I had to give them a urine sample...(I have never done that before)
Even tough I had urine to give, it didn't "wanna come out".. Embarassed
And then I started playing the mind game, "I'm taking to long, they are probably waiting and wondering if I am ok in here"..
My face became flaming hot and red, and then I got nervous over that.. "they will look at me funny and judge me", "did she take a dump in there or what?"
I ended up returning a very contaminated sample Sad ...My urinalysis teacher would flunk me for sure... (yes, I am actually studying urinalysis amongst other things Cool )

I'm sorry, I'm just bumed out and I just had to tell someone about this Sad

I hope you find some sort of solution to this problem Number1usjoe.. Sad

U know most people never need to worry about this but if I could pee at will under any conditions I could try to be a truck driver rather then stuck in house and a depressing future of ssi.
