I am a 20 year old male and I suffer from sweaty hands and feet. But mostly on the feet. I live in Southern California where the warm weather doesn't help much for me =). I feel for you situation because I hate going out and worrying about the things that people are going to say or see. I just ran across this website today and I am glad I found it! Hit me up to talk any of you...

Hi, everybody.

As my subject states I finally got a job (Whoo Hoo!!). The fact that I got a job is the only exciting thing about it. I am a janitor unfortunatly. It's a job but it's something I definately don't like doing. I suffer from truncal hyperhidrosis (butt, groin, thighs) and the only reason I am able to work is because its at night and there are no people around and there is no uniform which makes it easy for me to work.

I have been working for about a month and a half and I feel stuck. Before when I did not have a job I felt sad all the time because of my hyperhidrosis and not having a job. Now that I have a job as a janitor I feel sad all of the time because I am stuck as a janitor because it;s the only job that I can do because of my hyperhidrosis. I am just so tired of having hyperhidrosis. I controls my life and because of it I am limited as to what I can do.

Does anyone else feel stuck at a job because of their hyperhidrosis?

Hey you may not like your job that much but at least you've took a big step and now have one! other opportunities will present themselves in time.

Regarding the truncal sweating (butt, groin, thighs) have you ever heard of iontophoresis treatment? I have a link here showing someone who ordered a component for the Drionic iontophoresis machine a while back, which can be used around the truncal area.
