Problem with finding compatible friends and partners

I feel quite lonely & empty. I prefer quality over quantity in relationships & want to find more people with similar personalities and interests to share my life with. I'm an extrovert and find it easy to meet and have conversations with strangers. I don't have a problem attracting attention and gaining popularity from others but I don't feel like I meet enough people that I actually click with & want to be with. I tend to be able to fit into other people's lives but not vice versa. I don't feel like I can ever be happy. Sad

To a certain extent i can relate with what your saying, just that in my case it would be politics.

I set it simple and plain when it comes to the females and dating.
I tell them either you forget about me and you dating or expect me to talk to you a lot about what i care about, in return i will do the same for you.

If this doesn't work, then i all i can say is be patient.
Im patient and now i get offered a lot more dates then when i was looking for them.
